A new wristband shown at CES 2026 claims to end the daily dilemma of choosing between a beautiful analog watch and a feature-packed smartwatch.
The Smartlet strap, priced from $400 for stainless steel and up to $700 for titanium, cradles a traditional watch on the top of the wrist while a fitness tracker or smartwatch hides underneath.
How It Works
The modular band accepts watches with lug widths of 18-24 mm, including models from Omega, Tudor, TAG Heuer and Rolex, and pairs with most popular smartwatches via adapters.
Founder David Ohayon says he created Smartlet after growing tired of picking between his analog timepiece and his Apple Watch each morning. The concept lets wearers flip their wrist to swap from boardroom style to workout tracking in a second.
CNET social producer Tara Brown, who tried the band on the show floor, said the rig felt surprisingly light despite two devices attached. Smartlet keeps the underside band ultra-slim, adding only 9-12 mm of thickness once a tracker is snapped into the clasp.
Supported Devices
- Apple Watch
- Samsung Galaxy Watch
- Google Pixel Watch
- Garmin models
- Fitbit Charge devices
- Whoop 5 (integrates into the clasp)
Price Breakdown
| Material | Price | Includes |
|---|---|---|
| Stainless steel | $400 | Band only |
| Titanium | $700 | Band only |
Potential Drawbacks
- A second device on the wrist’s underside may bump desks and doorframes
- Marketing targets “modern gentlemen,” leaving women out of the pitch
- Niche appeal and luxury price limit mass adoption

Daniel J. Whitman noted that pairing a screen-less tracker such as the Whoop 5 could reduce damage risk while still delivering health data.
Key Takeaways
- Smartlet fuses analog luxury and smart health tracking on a single wrist
- Works with most major smartwatches and high-end analog brands
- Costs $400-$700 for the band only, watches sold separately
For watch enthusiasts unwilling to forgo modern tech, the Smartlet offers a clever-if pricey-compromise that turns heads at CES 2026.
