Seth Rogen holds Golden Globe trophy with confetti falling and crew celebrating behind him

Rogen Shouts Out Crew in Globe Win

Seth Rogen hailed the behind-the-scenes team of The Studio while accepting the Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy trophy at the January 11, 2026 Golden Globes.

The 43-year-old co-creator and star kissed wife Lauren Miller Rogen on his way to the Beverly Hilton stage and immediately praised the crew who “don’t get invited to this.”

Rogen’s Thank-You List

Rogen explained the show’s signature long takes only work if every department unites:

  • Cinematographer
  • Costume designer
  • Props handler
  • Caterer
  • “And others,” he added, naming staffers individually

“Truly without all of you, this show would not be makeable,” he said. “We’re so excited to start shooting the next season in one week from today.”

The victory capped a double-win night; Rogen had already claimed Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy.

The Competition

The Studio topped:

  • Abbott Elementary (ABC, 10 Globe noms, 3 wins since 2021)
  • The Bear (FX, 15 noms, 5 wins, picked up for season 5 in July)
  • Hacks (HBO, concluded May 2025 after 12 noms and 4 wins)
  • Nobody Wants This (Netflix, 6 noms since 2024)
  • Only Murders in the Building (Hulu, 20 noms; season 6 set in London)

The Apple TV+ comedy premiered March 2025 and follows a movie-obsessed studio boss juggling art and commerce. The ensemble includes Catherine O’Hara, Kathryn Hahn, Ike Barinholtz and Chase Sui Wonders.
