Trevor Noah is ready for his last Grammy bow. The former Daily Show host will emcee the 2026 Grammy Awards Feb. 1 on CBS, capping a six-year run that made him the ceremony’s longest-tenured modern host.
Executive producer Ben Winston confirmed the decision in a Jan. 13 statement to The Hollywood Reporter.
“I am beyond thrilled to welcome Trevor Noah back to host the Grammys for his sixth, and sadly, final time,” Winston said. “He’s been the most phenomenal host of the show. He’s so smart, so funny, and such a true fan of the artists and music.”
Why Noah Stepped Down
Noah’s representative declined to comment to News Of Losangeles on the reason for the exit, but Winston framed the choice as mutual.
“We can’t wait to do it together one last time,” Winston added, praising Noah’s impact as “truly spectacular.”

Noah, 41, has never hidden his excitement for the gig.
“I am 1,000 percent a fan, and what I love about the Grammys is that I become a fan of a new artist every single time,” he told Billboard in 2022.
