Transfer Details
Archewell has handed over:
- Complete operational structure and systems
- Brand and creative assets
- A cash grant covering year-one core costs
- Additional donor funds earmarked for expansion
An Archewell source told News Of Losangeles the strategy mirrors past successes: “We incubate initiatives before transitioning them to independent, sustainable organizations-much like the Invictus Games and Travalyst.”
Why ParentsTogether
The nonprofit already enjoys “trusted relationships with many of these families over years,” the source noted, calling the group “the ideal permanent home for The Parents Network.”
“We couldn’t be more excited to see these families supported and amplified in such capable hands,” the insider added.
Origins of the Network
Founded in 2022, the Parents Network unites American families who lost a child to social-media-related suicide or whose children have struggled because of online platforms.
During an August 2024 CBS Sunday Morning segment, Meghan and Harry told Jane Pauley that their own parenting experiences-son Prince Archie is 6 and daughter Princess Lilibet is 4-spurred their focus on digital safety.
“Our kids are young-they’re 3 and 5. They’re amazing. But all you want to do as parents is protect them,” Meghan said.
Harry added, “At this point, we’ve got to the stage where almost every parent needs to be a first responder. And even the best first responders in the world wouldn’t be able to tell the signs of possible suicide. That is the terrifying piece of this.”
Public Moments
- April 2025: The couple unveiled The Lost Screen Memorial in New York-50 smartphones displaying lock-screen photos of children lost to social-media harm
- October 2025: They surprised attendees at a talk with authors Jonathan Haidt and Catherine Price, praising parent-led efforts to curb digital overconsumption
Archewell’s Broader Shift

The hand-off coincides with Archewell’s rebrand to Archewell Philanthropies and its fifth anniversary. The foundation is adopting a fiscal-sponsorship model to expand global charitable work, a move that made staff reductions “inevitable,” a spokesperson confirmed.
What Happens Next
While formal decisions are pending, Harry (41) and Meghan (44) “are expected to remain involved with the Parents Network in some capacity,” News Of Losangeles understands.
ParentsTogether, now fully at the helm, will continue supporting families and advocating for safer digital spaces.
