Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is publicly marveling at President Donald Trump’s survival on a daily diet of fast food, candy, and soda.
Speaking on Katie Miller’s podcast Tuesday, Jan. 13, the 71-year-old Cabinet member compared his 79-year-old boss to a god while detailing Trump’s eating habits.
Kennedy: Trump Lives on McDonald’s and Diet Coke
“He eats really bad food, which is McDonald’s, and candy and Diet Coke. But he drinks Diet Coke at all times,” Kennedy told the wife of White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller.
Kennedy added: “I don’t know how he’s alive. He’s just pumping himself full of poison all day long.”
The health secretary said Trump chooses big-corporation food while traveling because he “trusts it and he doesn’t want to get sick.”
At Mar-a-Lago or the White House, Kennedy claimed, Trump eats “really good food.”
White House Pushes Back
White House spokesman Kush Desai responded to Kennedy’s remarks in a statement to News Of Losangeles.

“Secretary Kennedy is right: as his golf championships and flawless physical report results indicate, President Trump has the constitution and energy levels most young people could only dream of having,” Desai said.
Study Links Ultra-Processed Food to Cognitive Decline
Harvard Medical School cites a JAMA Neurology study published Dec. 5, 2022, that found a connection between high ultra-processed-food intake and cognitive decline.
Researchers tracked 11,000 dementia-free adults for eight years. Participants completed food questionnaires and cognitive tests.
Middle-aged volunteers who consumed the most ultra-processed foods experienced up to 28% faster cognitive decline than those who ate less.
Kennedy Still Praises Trump’s Vitality
Despite the dietary critique, Kennedy defended the president’s overall wellness on the podcast.
“He’s got-he’s in incredible health,” Kennedy insisted. “Dr. Oz looked at his medical records and said he’s got the highest testosterone level that he’s ever seen for an individual over 70 years old.”
“I know the president will be happy that I’ll repeat that,” Kennedy added, prompting laughter from Katie Miller, 34.
Trump Declares “Perfect Health” Amid Scrutiny
On Thursday, Jan. 1, The Wall Street Journal published an exposé titled “As Signs of Aging Emerge, Trump Responds With Defiance.”
In the piece, Trump describes himself as being in “perfect health.”
He dismissed photos and videos that appear to show him dozing during meetings. He also attributed his frequently bruised hands to taking a higher dose of aspirin than doctors recommend.
“They say aspirin is good for thinning out the blood, and I don’t want thick blood pouring through my heart,” Trump told the outlet. “I want nice, thin blood pouring through my heart. Does that make sense?”
