Andrew Garfield has a new look!
The actor, 42, sported a shaggy blonde hairstyle during a date night with girlfriend Monica Barbaro to see the Penn and Teller show in Las Vegas.
In a Tuesday, Jan. 13 Instagram post, the magician duo shared a snap of themselves posing with Garfield and Barbaro, 35, backstage. “Great to have #andrewgarfield and @monicabarbaro at the show @riovegas over the weekend!” they wrote in the caption.
The picture shows the Spider-Man star wearing a light brown hoodie with a white t-shirt underneath and a navy blue baseball hat covering his new hair. Barbaro, meanwhile, opted for a white button-down shirt, hoop earrings and a gold pendant necklace.
While Garfield didn’t attend the 2026 Golden Globes on Jan. 11, he recently addressed his viral moment from the 2025 ceremony.

During an October 2025 conversation with MTV journalist Josh Horowitz, Garfield was candidly asked if he knew his “power” at the Jan. 5 awards show after causing a stir by putting on glasses to present an award. The Oscar nominee denied that he did, saying that “everyone else was projecting something entirely different.”
He then watched the on-camera moment play back, walking fans through his thought process step by step.
“You’re surrounded by your peers and other people you admire and have admired since you were a child,” he explained. He said his heart started racing, and he felt “unbridled terror” while the award for presenting Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy with Kerry Washington.
“‘Oh f—. I can’t actually see the teleprompter. Did I bring my glasses? Yes, they’re in my right hand. Okay, great, now I can see,’ ” he recalled thinking.
His intrusive thoughts didn’t end there, according to the actor. “‘Oh s—, this shirt is too open. I do not want to give people this much of my flesh,'” Garfield continued.
The actor then said he tried to close his shirt, but it just opened wider. “I’m like ‘Okay, just breathe.’ I breathe, and that makes me do a facial thing. I don’t know.”
“And then, everyone thinks I’m trying to be sexy. But in truth, neurosis is, I guess, kinda sexy ultimately,” he added.
At the 2025 ceremony, Garfield wore a dark green Gucci suit with a black lapel detail, with a matching green button-down shirt, which, as he mentioned, had the first few buttons unfastened, revealing his chest.
