Carissa Duke is starting a family tradition of self-care days with her infant daughter, sharing a viral video that shows the 5-month-old enjoying a mock spa treatment complete with toy cucumber slices and an ice-roller rattle.
The creator posted the December clip after Capri’s older sister, Chloe, selected the Fisher-Price set as the baby’s first Christmas gift. In the footage Duke switches from unboxing the toys to showing Capri on the floor, wrapped in a tan blanket, toy cucumbers resting on her closed eyes and the ice-roller rattle in her tiny hand.
“…but what girl doesn’t love self care?” Duke wrote across the screen.
She expanded on the moment in her caption: “Babygirls first Christmas prezzy. Teaching her to spoil and be spoiled at an early age. This came with a full baby massage from mama 🫶🏼🥒🫧.”

Inside the Gift
The Fisher-Price Sensory Self-Care set contains:
- Toy mirror
- Ice-roller rattle
- Felt cucumber slices
- Additional spa-themed accessories sized for infants
Why Duke Prioritizes Pampering
Speaking with News Of Los Angeles, Duke explained that self-care days carry weight in her household and she wants the practice to shape her daughters’ upbringing.
“At our house, self-care days are kind of a big deal – and I want my girls to grow up knowing how special it is to take care of themselves,” she said.
She added that Chloe, who chose the gift for Capri, is already enthusiastic about the routine. “Capri’s big sister Chloe picked out the Fisher-Price Sensory Self-Care set for her very first Christmas (she’s just 5 months!), and she is obsessed with the ice roller rattle.”
The session ended with the infant so relaxed that she dozed off. “She was so comfy during her first little spa day with mommy that she fell asleep under her cucumber mask,” Duke noted.
Looking ahead, Duke sees the ritual expanding as both girls grow. “I already know our future mommy-and-me spa days with both girls are going to be the sweetest tradition – teaching them early that self-care is love,” she said.
