Megan Moroney Suffered Concussion Filming ‘Wish I Didn’t’

Megan Moroney went full action star for her new music video, and the bruises prove it.

During a Stationhead livestream after the Friday, Jan. 16 premiere of “Wish I Didn’t,” the country singer told fans she did every stunt herself, even the ones that left her battered.

“Guys, the bruises on my knees after the fight scene… It was wild,” she said, according to a fan clip. “Knees were black. It was the end of the day, and we literally only did it twice because I was exhausted.”

Bloody Knuckles and Broken Plates

The video, styled after Mr. & Mrs. Smith, casts Moroney and Dylan Efron as married assassins who discover they’ve been hired to kill each other. The climax is a dinner-table brawl that left Moroney dazed.

“Yeah, I probably had a concussion over it, but anything for the music video,” she laughed, adding that a stunt coordinator was on set and a plate was smashed over her head.

Efron backed up her claim on Instagram, posting behind-the-scenes footage with the caption: “she does her own stunts.”

Cloud 9 Countdown

“Wish I Didn’t” is the latest single from Moroney’s sophomore album Cloud 9, due Feb. 20. In a November cover story for News Of Los Angeles, she called the project her “favorite child” and said it reflects a newfound confidence.

“This is my best foot forward for where I’m at, and if you don’t like it, then you just don’t like my music,” she said.
