Lawrence, 35, didn’t hesitate when asked for her go-to karaoke pick. “‘Any Man of Mine,’ Shania Twain,” she fired back. Poehler, 54, confessed she didn’t know the track, prompting Lawrence to deliver an impromptu rendition.

“And if I change my mind / A million times / I want to hear him say / Yeah, yeah, yeah / I like it that way / Any man of mine,” she sang, grabbing the mic as Poehler cheered.

“Oh my God, you’re good,” Poehler said.

“I know, really good,” Lawrence replied.

Twain quickly caught wind of the clip. Under an Instagram post of the moment she wrote, “The passion! The energy! The microphone grab!! 😂 Obsessed. Love ya Jennifer.. and you Amy! ❤️”

She doubled down on X, simply posting, “This is so perfect.”

Released as the second single from The Woman in Me, “Any Man of Mine” became Twain’s first No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. The album went on to sell more than 12 million copies in the United States, earning the first diamond certification of her career.

In 2020 Twain marked the record’s 25th anniversary with a social-media video.

“I cannot believe it is 25 years since I released The Woman In Me. This is really the album that started it all off for me,” she said. “It was the first certified diamond album and 25 years later I’m still enjoying singing these songs every night. The album means a great deal to me. It’s been a very personal journey and I’m very grateful to this album.”

She ended the clip with a wink and a promise: “I actually should be doing something to celebrate – yeah.”

The country icon has kept a high profile lately. In October she surprised Austin City Limits attendees by joining Sabrina Carpenter on stage for a duet of “That Don’t Impress Me Much.” Twain later posted photos of the performance, captioning them, “It’s like Loretta and Dolly except it’s SHANIA & SABRINA 💖.”

Her most recent studio album, Queen of Me, arrived in February 2023.
