Prazosin, an alpha‑blocker used to treat hypertension, is being recalled because it contains high levels of a cancer‑causing chemical.

Meat and Pork Recalls

Hormel is recalling 5 million pounds of ready‑to‑eat frozen chicken after pieces of metal were found in the product. The metal came from a conveyor belt used in production, and no injuries have been reported. Pork jerky sold at Costco and Sam’s Club is also being recalled because of possible metal contamination.

Other Consumer Product Recalls

Costco is recalling a popular item used by parents because of potential safety risks posed to children. The specific item was not named in the notice.
