Ball, 36, portrays Dr. Frank Langdon on the medical drama and shared screen time with Roorbach when her character arrived in the ER with an eyelid glued shut by false-lash adhesive.

On-Screen Reunion

The couple acted opposite each other during the scene, which Roorbach landed after a standard audition.

Ball told HELLO! on January 9 that he had “nothing to do with” the casting decision, praising her for earning the role “the old-fashioned way.”

He described the experience as “a dream,” adding, “We get to turn around and play pretend together again: I get to be her doctor, and [her character] wanted nothing to do with me, and that also felt right.”

Social Media Tribute

Following the episode’s release, Ball reposted screenshots of Roorbach’s cameo to his Instagram Stories.

“So so honored to get to play with [Elysia] again in her TV DEBUT!!” he wrote. “Even if she didn’t want anything to do with me. Boo killed it.”

Off-Screen History

Ball and Roorbach met while performing in the stage production Las Aventuras de Juan Planchard in Miami and have dated since October 2023.

Roorbach marked their two-year anniversary in a recent Instagram post, sharing photos from hikes in Miami and Sequoia National Park and writing, “Doing some walking and jumping around in the woods to celebrate 2 amaze years of walking and jumping around in many different woods together 🧡 love you so Patty.”

Another Real-Life Couple on Set

The Pitt also features married couple Shawn Hatosy and Kelly Albanese; Hatosy plays Dr. Jack Abbot, while Albanese portrays patient Reina Burgess in season two.

The Pitt season 2 is currently airing on HBO Max.
