Brooklyn Beckham Slams Parents in Bombshell Rant

Brooklyn Beckham has publicly accused his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, of trying to bribe him into signing away the rights to his name before his 2022 wedding to Nicola Peltz Beckham.

In a series of Instagram Stories posts on January 19, the 26-year-old broke his silence on the estrangement, alleging that the pressure from his parents intensified in the weeks leading up to his wedding.

“Weeks before our big day, my parents repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe me into signing away the rights to my name, which would have affected me, my wife, and our future children,” Brooklyn wrote.

He claimed the terms would have been triggered if he signed before the wedding date, adding: “My holdout affected the payday, and they have never treated me the same since.”

The bribery accusation followed an earlier claim that his parents “have been trying endlessly to ruin” his relationship with Nicola, 31, “since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped.”

Wedding Day Allegations

Brooklyn alleged that during the wedding itself, Victoria, 51, interrupted his first dance with Nicola.

“My mom hijacked my romantic first dance and danced very inappropriately on me in front of our 500 guests,” he wrote.

He also accused his mother of cancelling the creation of Nicola’s wedding dress. These claims echo previous reports cited by News Of Los Angeles last year, where sources said the family feud began over the dress and the first dance incident.

Brooklyn further claimed that relatives told him the night before the wedding that Nicola was “not blood” and “not family.”

Control and Image

In his posts, Brooklyn accused his parents of manipulating public perception throughout his life.

“My parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family,” he wrote, describing “performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships” as “a fixture of the life I was born into.”

He repeated the claim: “My family values public promotion and endorsements above all else. Brand Beckham comes first.”

A representative for David and Victoria did not respond to News Of Los Angeles‘s request for comment.

Months of Strain

The public outburst follows months of reported tension. Brooklyn and Nicola were notably absent from David’s 50th birthday celebrations in 2025.

Despite the rift, a source close to the family told News Of Los Angeles earlier: “The relationship is definitely not beyond repair. David and Victoria love and are always there for Brooklyn. They’re just hurt and disappointed that he’s now playing no part in family life.”

Another source with knowledge of the situation said David and Victoria “have repeatedly asked Brooklyn and Nicola to meet and talk in order to move forward,” adding: “David loves his kids. They are his everything.”

Brooklyn has three younger siblings: Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14.

Despite these overtures, Brooklyn’s January 19 posts ended with a firm rejection: “I do not want to reconcile with my family.”
