Pete Davidson is turning his garage into a studio for a new weekly video podcast that will launch exclusively on Netflix.
The streamer and the Saturday Night Live alum announced The Pete Davidson Show on Wednesday, Jan. 14, confirming a Jan. 30 premiere date. Episodes will drop weekly at 12:01 a.m. PST.
At a Glance
- Pete Davidson’s new podcast films inside his home garage.
- Netflix will release episodes weekly starting Jan. 30.
- The show promises “candid, no-holds-barred conversations” with his friends.
- Why it matters: The move adds another celebrity-fronted original to Netflix’s rapidly expanding podcast slate.
Garage Set, Global Reach
Davidson, 32, joked that the garage is “where all the best conversations happen,” according to the announcement on Tudum, Netflix’s editorial arm.
> “Netflix was the home of one of my first stand-up specials, so it felt right to bring the podcast there, too. It’s me and my friends talking about anything and everything. It’s going to be a great time,” he said.
The weekly format will feature the comedian’s pals in unfiltered discussions. Production credits go to:
- Marc Lieberman, president of Above Average
- Ayala Cohen, veteran Saturday Night Live producer
- Sarah Brennan Kolb, director
Netflix’s Podcast Push
The greenlight arrives as Netflix accelerates its podcast ambitions. In December 2025, iHeartRadio struck an exclusive video-podcast partnership with the platform for 15 shows, including The Breakfast Club and My Favorite Murder.

Netflix also unveiled The White House, a biweekly sports-analysis podcast hosted by Hall of Fame wide receiver Michael Irvin.
Past Projects With the Streamer
Davidson has already logged three major comedy specials with Netflix:
| Year | Title |
|---|---|
| 2020 | Pete Davidson: Alive from New York |
| 2022 | Pete Davidson Presents: The Best Friends (Netflix Is a Joke Fest) |
| 2024 | Pete Davidson: Turbo Fonzarelli |
The new podcast extends that relationship into long-form, conversational content.
Life After SNL
Since departing Saturday Night Live in 2022, Davidson has:
- Starred in Amazon Prime Video’s The Pickup
- Voiced a lead character in Dog Man (2025)
- Become a first-time father
He and girlfriend Elsie Hewitt welcomed daughter Scottie Rose on Dec. 12, sharing the news on Instagram days later. “Wu tang forever,” Davidson quipped in his post.
Podcast Guest History
Although The Pete Davidson Show marks his first hosting gig, Davidson has guested on several popular podcasts:
- This Past Weekend with Theo Von
- REAL ONES with Jon Bernthal
- Paul’s Best Podcast
Those appearances showcased his candid storytelling style, a tone Netflix hopes to harness in weekly installments.
Key Takeaways
- Davidson’s garage-set conversations will stream globally on Netflix beginning Jan. 30.
- The weekly release positions Netflix to compete in the celebrity-podcast market dominated by Spotify and YouTube.
- With production veterans from SNL and Above Average, the show aims for a polished yet loose vibe that mirrors Davidson’s stand-up persona.
Netflix has not disclosed an episode count for the first season.
