After more than a decade on television, the nine Duggar sisters have built new lives off-screen. From memoirs and music to tiny-house living and growing families, each sister has charted a distinct path since TLC canceled Counting On in 2021.
Jana, 36: Remodeler & Newlywed
Jana Duggar stayed in Tontitown, Ark., and works as a home remodeler. She married Stephen Wissmann on Aug. 15, 2024, before 500 guests in Prairie Grove, Ark. The eldest daughter moved into a converted city office she bought at auction and, after a two-year social-media hiatus, returned to YouTube in 2024 to share sheep-farming updates with sisters Johannah and Josie. In 2021 she pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor child-endangerment citation, paid $880 and settled outside court after a toddler she was babysitting wandered outside alone.
Jill, 34: Memoirist & Podcast Guest
Jill Duggar Dillard lives near the Oklahoma-Arkansas border with husband Derick and their three sons. She has distanced herself from her parents, appeared in the 2023 Prime Video docuseries Shiny Happy People and published the memoir Counting the Cost. In the book she claims her father tricked her into signing a contract and paid her only $175,000 for ten years of filming. Jim Bob and Michelle replied through News Of Losangeles: “We’ve aimed to deal honorably… we will not comment.” Jill now wears pants, has a nose ring, drinks alcohol and models swimwear.
Jessa, 33: Mom of Six
Jessa Duggar Seewald and husband Ben live in Springdale, Ark., with children Spurgeon, Henry, Ivy, Fern, George and a sixth baby on the way. In February 2023 she shared on YouTube that she miscarried between Fern and George. The couple wed in November 2014 on 19 Kids and Counting and bought their current home in early 2022.

Jinger Duggar Vuolo, husband Jeremy and their three children-Felicity, Evangeline and newborn son Finnegan-live in Santa Clarita, Calif., in a Tudor-style home purchased in August 2024. Joy-Anna, 28: YouTuber & Mom of Three
Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth married Austin in May 2017 after a 15-year friendship. They have two living children-Gideon and Evelyn-and a stillborn daughter between them. Son Gunner arrived in May 2023. The family resides in Arkansas where Austin builds homes and Joy-Anna vlogs on the channel Follow the Forsyths.
