Becca Tobin is publicly criticizing Hilary Duff’s husband, Matthew Koma, for jumping into the viral mom-group drama surrounding Ashley Tisdale French. Speaking on the Jan. 13 episode of her LadyGang podcast, the 39-year-old Glee alum said she found Koma’s Instagram jab at Tisdale French “tacky” and “offensive.”

Tobin’s Take on Koma’s Post

Tobin told listeners she has no issue with any of the moms in the group-only with Koma.

> “I don’t think there’s any loser… not one except for Hilary Duff’s husband,” Tobin said.

She objected to Koma creating a parody of Tisdale French’s photo shoot for The Cut, where the actress discussed leaving a “toxic” mom group without naming names.

> “I think it is so gross when husbands jump in and get petty,” Tobin added, noting Tisdale French never identified the women.

The Instagram Jab

On Jan. 6, Koma posted a selfie mimicking Tisdale French’s essay artwork: seated next to a houseplant in all-black attire and rose-tinted sunglasses. He added The Cut logo and a fake headline:

> “When You’re The Most Self Obsessed Tone Deaf Person On Earth, Other Moms Tend To Shift Focus To Their Actual Toddlers.”

His caption: “Read my new interview with @TheCut.”

Co-Host Chimes In

Co-host Jac Vanek labeled Koma a habitual pot-stirrer.

> “He always inserts himself into things… so it’s not as surprising,” Vanek said, adding she would not want her own husband doing the same.

Tobin’s Broader View

While Tobin admitted she lacks inside knowledge of the friend-group dynamics, she empathized with both sides.

> “Your world revolves around your kids… many women deal with this,” she said, acknowledging the relatability of mom-group friction.

Still, she faulted Koma for piling on.

> “It’s offensive for what he said about her. I don’t like it at all,” Tobin concluded.

A representative for Tisdale French previously denied to TMZ that the essay targeted Duff’s circle, maintaining the women were kept anonymous.
