Hudson Williams has traded hockey sticks for high fashion. The 24-year-old star of HBO Max’s Heated Rivalry made his runway debut opening the DSquared2 show during Men’s Fashion Week in Milan on January 16.
Runway Debut in Milan

The Canadian actor strutted down a winter-themed catwalk flanked by fake snow and branded walls resembling ice-rink boards. Designers Dean Caten and Dan Caten billed the Fall-Winter 2026 presentation as coed, showcasing both male and female models.
Williams led the pack in double denim, a nod to both his Canadian roots and the Canada-born fashion house. His look included:
- High-fashion snow boots
- A hat hooked to his belt loop
- Oversize outerwear layered for the alpine theme
Models sported puffer coats, sweaters, shining corsets and cozy sweatsets. At the finale, Williams took one last solo turn while the entire cast posed at the runway’s top. The designers themselves closed the show, riding atop two shirtless male models.
Golden Globes First
The runway moment caps a whirlwind week. Days earlier Williams and costar Connor Storrie, 25, walked their first Golden Globes red carpet. The pair present the Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role – Television award to Adolescence star Erin Doherty at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.
Security checked the perimeter with help from UFC fighters before the duo hit the stage. Storrie admitted nerves: “It’s a little nerve-racking here being here at our first Golden Globes.”
Williams advised, “just take a deep breath and picture everyone in the audience, you know…”
Storrie quipped that picturing the crowd in underwear wouldn’t work because “everyone’s seen us seen us” naked. He then greeted the show’s streaming audience: “Their trainers have, and their moms have, and their daughters have.”
“Hi, moms!” Williams added. “Hi, daughters!” Storrie echoed.
Fashion Forward
On the red carpet Williams wore a white peak-lapel dinner jacket trimmed in grosgrain, white silk evening shirt, black evening trousers and white grosgrain cummerbund-all by Giorgio Armani. He accessorized with a Bulgari necklace and Christian Louboutin shoes.
The series, based on Rachel Reid’s books, has already been greenlit for season 2. Reid also announced an upcoming Shane-Ilya novel, ensuring more on-screen-and likely off-screen-fashion moments for Williams.
