Why it matters: The revelation sparked surprise among followers who hadn’t realized she had divorced, highlighting how reality-star personal lives can shift off-screen.

Leslie Davis, co-host of HGTV’s Unsellable Houses and recent Rock the Block winner, is engaged. The 42-year-old shared the news Wednesday, Jan. 14, in an Instagram carousel that chronicled both the proposal and highlights of her relationship with fiancé Don.

Snowmobile Proposal in Leavenworth

“SURPRISE! Don popped the question during a snowy Leavenworth snowmobile ride, joined by all three of my boys, which made it even more perfect,” Davis wrote. The post featured snapshots of the couple’s life together, including a New York City trip, a Seattle Seahawks game, and a beach vacation.

While Davis offered few specifics about the actual proposal, she hinted at how the relationship began. “Turns out Rock the Block gave me a win in more than one way,” she said, referencing the HGTV competition she won in 2024 alongside her twin sister, Lyndsay Lamb. “Somewhere between sunup-to-sundown chaos and lots of laughs, I found my person.”

From Friendship to Forever

Davis described Don as “my safe place, my teammate, and my favorite adventure buddy,” adding that their bond started as a friendship amid the rigors of filming. “What started as a friendship during one of the wildest experiences of my life turned into true love. We were in it together then… and now we’re in it together forever.”

Although Don worked behind the scenes on Rock the Block, he did not appear on-air. The sisters ultimately took home the top prize after host Ty Pennington declared them winners at the end of the season.

Twin Sister Reacts

Lamb celebrated the engagement with her own post, writing, “This is a Twin-win for the books. Seeing my sister this happy fills my heart beyond words.” She continued: “Leslie, you deserve this kind of joy. So excited for this next chapter for these two, and grateful I got to be there when their story began at Rock the Block!”

Fan Confusion Over Past Marriage

Commenters quickly flooded Davis’s announcement, many expressing happiness for the couple. Fellow HGTV personality Jenny Marrs wrote, “You look so happy, friend! You deserve nothing less! Congratulations!”

Others admitted surprise, believing Davis was still married to her ex-husband Jacob. “Did I miss something?” one asked. “I thought you were married for many years.” Another wrote, “I’m so confused. I thought you both were married already. When did you get divorced? Doesn’t matter at this point, congratulations on your new love.”

An Aug. 13, 2021, blog entry on the sisters’ Lamb & Co. website stated that Davis had been married to Jacob for 19 years. Both Davis and Lamb met their former husbands while attending Snohomish High School in Washington.

Neither HGTV nor Davis immediately replied to News Of Losangeles‘s request for comment.
