The California Lottery confirmed the winning ticket was sold at the ARCO/AMPM at 50 W. Los Angeles Ave. at South Moorpark Avenue. The purchaser matched the numbers 5, 19, 21, 28, and 65. The Powerball number was 14.

Because no ticket matched all six numbers, Monday’s jackpot rose to $137 million. By Monday night, the estimated jackpot for Wednesday’s drawing had climbed to $156 million after no one hit the full set again.

Powerball drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 7:59 p.m. The odds of matching all five numbers plus the Powerball are 1 in 292.2 million, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association. The overall chance of winning any prize is 1 in 24.9.
