A months-long New Hampshire investigation has landed pre-licensed therapist Daniel Thibeault behind bars, charged with assaulting a patient who had originally sought couples counseling with her husband.
The Allegations
Bow police say the woman met Thibeault in July 2025 for marriage counseling, then began individual sessions. During an August appointment, she told investigators, he:
- Rubbed her body without consent
- Picked her up, kissed her and said, “I’m so attracted to you”
- Ignored her repeated demands to stop
How the Case Unfolded
The woman’s father phoned police on August 20, launching the probe. She later underwent a forensic exam; December DNA results showed male genetic material. Officers arrested Thibeault on January 5.
