“This is exactly how I pictured it: Snoop giving me the award,” Poehler joked, later adding, “I don’t know about award shows, but when they get it right, it makes sense.”

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced the new category in October, selecting 25 eligible shows through data partner Luminate.
