Robyn shared the title, artwork and March 27 release date for Sexistential on Jan. 7, accompanied by two immediate releases: “Talk to Me,” co-written with Max Martin, and the provocative title track.
She describes the record’s sound as “a spaceship coming through the atmosphere at a really high speed and crash landing,” adding, “I felt like I’d had all these experiences searching too far out into space, and now I’m crashing back into myself.”

- “Talk to Me” was penned during lockdown when physical contact was impossible. The singer admits, “I like talkers, that turns me on.”
- On “Sexistential,” she raps about IVF, one-night stands while 10 weeks pregnant, and choosing Adam Driver as her ideal donor-though she jokingly confuses him with Adam Sandler‘s 2008 comedy You Don’t Mess with the Zohan.
