Teyana Taylor Stuns in Diamond Thong Gown at Globes

Teyana Taylor turned heads at the 83rd annual Golden Globe Awards on January 11, 2026, with a daring custom Schiaparelli gown featuring a diamond-encrusted thong.

The 35-year-old actress, nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in One Battle After Another, arrived at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles wearing a black floor-length dress with strategic cutouts, a halter neckline, and a flowing scarf detail.

But the real showstopper was the back – a cape-like design draped over a sparkling g-string thong.

“The crack is covered in diamonds. It’s expensive!” Taylor joked to Justin Sylvester during E!’s Live from the Red Carpet coverage. Sylvester dubbed the look “a party in the back.”

The gown also highlighted Taylor’s upper-back tattoo and was paired with a smokey eye, winged eyeliner, and nude lipstick.

Taylor gave a shoutout to her daughters – Rue Rose, 4, and Iman “Junie” Tayla, 9 – calling them her “two biggest fashion critics” and saying, “They’re living tonight.”

The nomination marks Taylor’s first-ever Golden Globe nod, adding momentum to her breakout performance as Perfidia Beverly Hills in Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another. The film leads this year’s nominations with nine, including Best Picture (Musical/Comedy), Director, and Screenplay.

Co-stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Chase Infiniti are also nominated in the lead acting categories.
