From clay sculpting and woodworking to metal embossing and painting, campers unleash their creativity and immerse themselves in artistic expression. Additionally, they have the opportunity to participate in various activities such as baking cookies, improv theater, and basketball games on our sports court and field. With intentionally mixed-age groups, we create a nurturing environment that encourages peer learning and mentorship. Furthermore, our Junior Guide Program empowers middle school kids to develop leadership skills, partake in special programs, and lead projects that align with their passions and talents. While our camp programs primarily take place outdoors within our expansive and picturesque campus, we have a spacious indoor lodge available in case of rain.

This program takes place at different sites along the local trails in Woodland Hills and Calabasas. Registration for the Explorer Program opens in mid-November.
Camp Wildcraft, a sanctuary of art and nature, strives to cultivate inquisitive, imaginative, self-assured, and compassionate children who resonate with the natural world. Every day, we undertake hiking and natural exploration activities, supplementing them with diverse art projects. These involve using an array of materials and methods, such as clay molding, wood construction, metal embossing, painting, sketching, utilizing organic dyes, and weaving with yarn.
Our campers engage in a selection of enriching activities: culinary experiences like cookie baking, improvisational drama, energetic basketball games on our sports court, and engaging field activities. Our intentional small size fosters diverse age interaction. Middle school children are encouraged to join our Junior Guide Program, an initiative to instill leadership skills. They participate in unique programs and lead camp projects that cater to their skills and passions. Most of our camp activities occur in the great outdoors, on our vast, stunningly beautiful campus. However, in case of inclement weather, our roomy indoor lodge serves as an ideal alternative.
